Innovative Brands is a consumber products company which purchases strong consumer brands that are no longer strategic assets to their previous owners. In this case, they purchased the Pert Plus line from Procter & Gamble  in 2006, first introduced to the market in 1985. The Pert Plus line includes nine different shampoos, including dandruff shampoos and kids shampoos and combine shampoo with conditioner in one.
