Bleach is a chemical whose most common form is liquid. This liquid contains sodium hypochlorite and is often used in cleaning and sanitizing. Bleach is known for removing colors (especially stains) or for whitening. These terms are often associated with laundry or laundry products. If a product that contains bleach claims to sanitize or disinfect it is considered a pesticide and must be registered as such.
Unfortunately some factory practices release contaminates into the environment called organo-chlorines. The dioxins released from the organo-chlorines are potent, toxic, by-products of the bleaching process. The chemicals make they way into the air, water, soil and the food chain causing a break in the natural form of these elements.
