Reuse

Reuse is making use of something beyond its intended lifespan.

This could include anything from junk mail, to packing peanuts, chopsticks, glass containers, or corks.

By utilizing an item more than once, either for the same purpose or by giving it a new use, the life of an item is extended.

Reuse is an important component of the 3Rs: reduce, recycle, reuse.

What items do you seldom buy because you've become so accustomed to reusing them? Rubber bands? Twist ties? Paper or plastic bags from the grocery?
