Sex: free, healthy, green

True, technically, sex isn't necessarily free, but let's skip past that and get to the good stuff, shall we? Here's the deal:

Sex is good for you.

We realize there is cheering going on right now at this news. Some of you—and we won't be naming any names unless you want us to—already knew this, deep down in some resource of inner wisdom. But now you have proof, at least if you can trust Sarah Jo from Shine, and we are pretty sure you can. (Have a look at her thumbnail icon. Isn't that a face you should trust?) So sex is good for you. In fact, if you're a woman and you enjoy sex, you'll live longer. If you're a man having sex 3 times a week (a worthy goal for sure) you'll reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke by 50%. Those are good odds. Sex also helps reduce general pain. And it makes you feel like you're earning more money!

Sex also has a low carbon footprint. And unless you get too carried away with the toys, it's low on the consumerism scale. It's free, and doesn't require special tools or paraphernalia (oh stop it! You are so 12!). Sex is also very portable and can travel with you anywhere. It's great exercise and ranks right up there with walking (for different reasons, obviously).

Want green sex tips? Try here. And here. And then go get healthier. You can thank us later (flowers are nice).

Sex is "very portable." Love that! Great, uplifting bit of good news, Karen, something we all need more of. Thanks!
