Tweet, tweet—nope, this isn't another blog about spring fever. Aren't you on Twitter yet? Maybe it's all the celebrities who are hopping aboard—from Ashton and Demi to Shaq and of course, eco-favorite Al Gore—but Twitter is reporting an astounding 1,382 percent growth from this time last year. Twitter is like blogging in 140 characters or less, a quick, easy and (evidently) addictive way to connect with like-minded people all over the world.
Twitter keeps users glued to their keyboards (or texting from their phones) because the potential for sharing fresh ideas on topics that pique your interest is simply stratospheric. We've shared our lists of favorite eco-Twitterers before, but the Twitterverse moves so fast that new faces and stars are constantly emerging. Red, Green and Blue has posted a new list of eco-politicians you should follow, including:
- Emily Gertz of change.org’s Stop Global Warming blog
- Scott Anderson of The Green Skeptic
- Andrew Revkin of The New York Times' Dot Earth blog
Check out Red, Green and Blue for the whole list.
Sound intriguing? Let us show you how to get started on Twitter.
