The great thing about the green community is that it's just that, a community. And perhaps nowhere else is this more evident than on Twitter, where green is red hot. Now you can follow Twitter greenies in the know even easier—or share your best picks for green Tweeple—by using the #EcoMonday hashtag.
If you've been on Twitter at least a week you've probably already seen #FollowFriday, the identifying hashtag people use to post their picks for worthy Twitter follows, folks whose Twitter streams are chock-full of useful links, interesting quotes, and witty observations, or are just fun to connect with. Now the green crowd has #EcoMonday, sure to help green up everyone's Twitter stream and help bring eco world attention into sharper focus in the main stream.
Still not sure who to follow in the green world?
- This list will get you started.
- Then take it up a notch with these worthy green Twitterers.
- And this is the list I'm using right now to update my greenworthy followees.
- Don't forget to add @supereco.
- And of course you can search on #EcoMonday and find all kinds of great green Tweeps.
One more thing. You can ramp up your green following by following @ecomonday and then recommending your fave green follows (or get recommended by someone else) AND use the #EcoMonday hashtag when you do. Confused? This explains it all.
(Oh, and don't forget to—ahem—follow me, too: @lightspring)
