Hey you there, on the couch! We see you hiding from all the relatives. Hand over the remote to someone else in the clan and grab your laptop or iPhone instead, because we've got an update of green folks worth following on Twitter. You do Twitter, don't you? There's no faster, easier way to find out what other greenophiles are thinking and talking about right this very moment. You'll connect with folks whose Twitter streams are chock-full of useful links, interesting quotes and witty observations. And no, it won't gobble up all your time—remember, Twitter's all done in 140 characters or less!
This being the internet, the scene is constantly changing. Ecorazzi just posted a fresh lineup of green Twitterati that we agree are among the best of the best. Notes blogger Michael d'Estries, "In creating this list, I did my best to stack up all the green sites out there on Twitter against each other and rank according to followers. The majority are doing incredibly well in the 10,000 and below range—but these 10 represent those that have jumped beyond that number. I also did my best to concentrate on those sites with a heavy focus on green journalism—so even though Live Earth may have a blog, I consider it more of a green non-profit organization than a 'green blog.' Planet Green barely squeaked by because of their heavy focus on original green stories online."
Here's still more fodder for your green Twitter stream.
- Ecorazzi's new top 10 lineup
- Mashable's Twitter environmentalists
- Twibes green list

Beet greens are good steamed. Collard greens are good, saute a little chopped fresh garlic in a small amount of olive oil and when it turns golden color add frozen chopped collard greens, stir-fry them until they are cooked, just a few minutes.
