3 green products you can actually use

We try not to turn out too many posts on cool green products—there's enough stuff in the world already, and we'd rather tell you how to green the products and services you already buy—but sometimes we end up with some truly exceptional finds. Just in time for holiday gift-giving, here are three that stopped our "delete" buttons in their tracks.

  • Style and substance Think of the impression you'd make pulling one of these stunning hardwood and bamboo iPod cases from Vers out of your bag or pocket. For every tree used, Vers replants 100 through a partnership with The Arbor Day Foundation and the U.S. Forestry Service to re-forest areas damaged by fire and other natural disasters.
  • Out, damned spot! 'Tis the season for spotty behavior: ink pens that miss their targets, overturned wine glasses, markers gone awry. When your children's hands (or your owns) show the indelible signs of holiday projects, scrub them clean with Removeez. This homeopathic formula of aloe, bee pollen, calendula, Hawaiian white ginger and red clover blossom massages in to whisk away the stains of your creative efforts.
  • Energize Don't forget batteries when you're wrapping up those holiday gifts—and now you can make them a little greener. If rechargeables are too pricey or you're not sure the gift recipient has a recharger, give Fuji's new EnvironMAX batteries. Manufactured according to more sustainable, eco-friendly standards and packaged in recycled paper, these non-toxic hummers are free of toxins like mercury, cadmium and PVC, so they can be tossed directly into the regular trash can after use (although you should still recycle whenever possible).

This is a great idea and everyone you add these to their eco shopping list. This will make you a more eco shopper as batteries is something we have to buy! Plus you wont have to get a loan till payday and you will be able to help our environment.
