I applaud Emily Deschanel for her help in educating people to the cruelties we subject our animal kingdom. My son is a vegan and I am a vegetarian and it took me many years to finally make the commitment. It is easy to give up meat and you can still eat very well. I lack for nothing and I am so glad my 18 year old son showed me the way. Peta is amazing and they will break your heart with the truth but people need to know the truth of where their food comes from. It is so cruel and heartless. I for one, want to do all I can to help for the rest of my life. So many areas that need to be addressed. So much ignorance out there. So much arrogance.
